His Excellency Christopher Thornley, Canadian Ambassador to the Philippines, cited the Canadian Tourism & Hospitality Institute (CTHI) as a truly Filipino-Canadian partnership that represents how Canada can really bring something to the Philippines that can help the country’s economic growth.

He added that he sees the entry of the Vancouver-based Canadian Tourism College to the Philippines as a huge potential for Filipinos to create wealth as they develop strong careers, jobs and livelihood in the tourism sector that can help them raise their families.

“CTHI has been in the industry for thirty (30) years, so they really represent some of the best that we have in Canada in terms of universities, colleges and private education institutions,” said Amb. Thornley.
