A 3-hour coffee appreciation course entitled “Coffee 101: Know your Brew, Learn the Difference” was conducted at the Canadian Tourism and Hospitality Institute last July 9, 2011. The seminar was attended by coffee lovers, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. The course covered the basics about the world’s favorite drink – from the history, sources, industry, to the different types, blends, processes, and equipments used. The participants were also treated to free-flowing coffee of different types. Coffee 101 is one of the many interesting and exciting lifestyle courses lined-up by CTHI for the rest of the year.
